reminiscent of the motherland- Africa, appeals to everyone!
MLB is the dream and brain child of Phyllis Muffuh Navti, and is jointly owned by Phyllis Navti and Nora Bongmba.
Why and how MLB came to be :
As an African immigrant who has lived in different European countries for almost two decades and who loves cooking
and serving Afro delights to friends and families, i noticed how unaccessible African snacks were to those who craved it.
After years of being encouraged, cajoled and challenged by my friends and families to market my culinary delights,
Motherland Bites was conceived and eventually put to birth.
Objectives :
Motherland Bites has three primary objectives ;
- To introduce the rich and soulful taste of scrumptious ethnic delicacies to the west and make the products readily accessible.
- To make readily available to afro-descendants, afro-delicacies and alongside them, priceless memories of the motherland.
- To provide adapted recipes and nutritional facts for signature afro-dishes with the primary aim of making afro based diets not only delicious but also relatively healthy.
